Career Talk

Networking-Event: Career Talk with Dr. Christa Lang (head of research and documentation at the Eifel National Park), 22.01.2024, registration until 21.01.2024

Many doctoral candidates face the same questions during and at the end of their PhD: What career opportunities do I have after the PhD? How can I best prepare for the start of my career?

In order to provide you with the best possible support as a doctoral candidate at the GFA, English-language career talks in cooperation with the Alumni Chapter of the Faculty of Forest Sciences and Forest Ecology of the University’s Alumni Association are organized. This event format gives you the opportunity to gain valuable first-hand insights and experiences from our alumni.

During the one-hour (online) events, the speakers talk about their diverse career paths and their personal experiences during their doctorate. After their presentation they are available to answer questions. You will have the opportunity to learn more about the job profile, find out which qualifications and references you should bring with you and how you can develop your career.

The next Career Talk takes place online on 22.01.2024 from 03:00 p.m. to 04:00 p.m.. We have invited Dr. Christa Lang, head of research and documentation at the Eifel National Park. We have extended the deadline for registration: Please register for the meeting by email to gfa@uni-goettingen.de until 21.01.2024.
